As I strolled through Some articles today and I seen one that caught my eye.It was about Social Media Giant Twitter and one interesting Trending Topic,now if you don’t use twitter trending topic is something everybody is talking about,from events to news that goes on in the world. You can basically find out anything on twitter and any and everybody has a account even the President Of The United States has one.

But the trending topic for one day happened to be #thethingthatdarkiessay which is very offensive in my book ,alot of African American said it was a way to compare African Americans to South African .But when I was raised I was always taught that Darkies was one of the people used to degrade African Americans it’s one of those words that I feel is for bidden to use among any race including African Americans .

But yet twitter allowed it People had a field day with it including African American I was not amused and called attention to it by emailing and replying to twitter through my account but to no success I never got a response.

This also brings up another trending Topic issue that pissed me off now as a African American man I know the deep rooted hate and pain the KKK and hateful folks have caused my community,So to find out one day that the KKK was a trending topic really just picked a really big bone with me in a sense with the History of the KKK and the countless murders of innocent African Americans why would Twitter not filter a hate group who have caused so much pain and fears in so many people lives .

I would have thought people would have been outraged like I’m but to many African Americans alot of them young saw it as a big Joke and I get the feeling alot of them don’t even know their own History.

I wonder if a Trending topic came up with the N word on it or the Word Lynch All words would people still see it as a joke ?.

So I decided to Boycott Twitter Until they do something about the Hate Trending Topics .People who are using their services should not have to be subjected to crap like this many African Americans say I live in the Past but those same ones also tend to be the lazy ones who will never stand up and fight.I lazy Present doesn’t bring a Great Future.
